Todo lo que necesitas saber antes de tu primera eSIM Kwetu.
An eSIM is a digital SIM built into your phone. Instead of inserting a plastic card, you install a data plan over the air by scanning a QR code — no shop visit, no swapping chips.
Most phones released since 2019 support eSIM, including iPhone XS and later, Google Pixel 3 and later, and recent Samsung Galaxy S and Note models. Check Settings to confirm your device can add a cellular/eSIM plan.
After purchase, you receive a QR code in the app. Go to your phone’s cellular settings, add a data plan, and scan the code. Your eSIM installs in under a minute.
Yes. Your Kwetu eSIM runs alongside your primary SIM, so you keep your home number active for calls and 2FA texts while using Kwetu for data abroad.
No. You pay one upfront price for your data package at local rates. There are no surprise roaming charges and no contracts.
You can top up by buying another package any time from the app. Your eSIM stays installed, so reconnecting takes seconds.
